FAQ’s & Policies
The time that you schedule at Pastille is reserved for you alone. We know how important your time is and take that seriously meaning we never over-book or double-book clients and therefore keep on schedule. We’re rarely able to accommodate clients who arrive in excess of 15 minutes late, or add additional services to a scheduled appointment.
Cancellations and No Shows
Should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment please provide at least 24hrs notice to avoid a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost of the scheduled service. Clients who “no show” will be charged the full value of the treatment. Clients with multiple cancellations and reschedules may be asked to pay a deposit for future bookings.
We are aware this may seem strict however we cannot stress how damaging no-shows are to a small business such as ours. In case of any emergencies on our behalf and we have to cancel your appointment with less than 24hrs your next appointment will be 50% off too.

Nail Art Designs
Pastille’s hand-painted, bespoke nail art designs are not included in any of our Mani or Pedi treatments. If you’d like some nail art please request a Nail Art Consultation when booking. You are more than welcome to bring a photo of your chosen design, in addition to seeing what designs our team have created on either on our instagram @PastilleBeauty or the inspiration page of our website here.
Our Gel Polish Guarantee
Pastille specialises in gel polish treatments, with most of our clients benefitting from weeks of chip-free, high-shine nails. We offer a 7 day guarantee on all our gel polish treatments meaning that if you chip them within this time frame please let us know and we will get you in as soon as possible to a complimentary repair.
We require a deposit of £25 for any bookings over £50 in value. This must be paid when making the booking and is fully refundable provided you cancel or rearrange with 48hrs notice. Deposits can be paid over the phone during our opening hours or via our website here. Someone will be in touch to request this deposit shortly after making a booking with us if you haven’t already made the payment.
Do I still need a patch test if I regularly get tinting or lash extensions?
We would still require a patch test in this situation as every brand of tint and glue is different and just because you are okay with one brand it doesn’t necessarily mean you would be with ours. Please be aware that any salon that doesn’t require a tint test wouldn’t be insured against any adverse reactions.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes we do offer gift vouchers. They are valid towards any treatment for 6 months and will be posted either directly to the recipient or to yourself. Please call or email the salon to arrange this.
Do you accept walk ins?
As a general rule we would always advise booking in advance as Pastille gets exceptionally busy, however we do occasionally have gaps & cancellations so it is always worth trying to call or pop in.
Can I bring my child with me to my appointment?
You are of course more than welcome to bring your child(ren) to Pastille. However, we are unable to provide childcare supervision for children ourselves. Therefore please be mindful of how long your appointment will be, and that you will be unable to use your hands during your appointment.
How old do you need to be for gel polish?
We can offer you a gel polish if you are 16 and older.
